Let’s give a real-world example. Jim Ballidis and Arshia Mardasi of Allen Flatt Ballidis & Leslie are currently taking legal action against R&B singer Chris Brown, Majestic Hour Productions Inc., and 20 different production staffers, who were all involved in a music video shoot in downtown Los Angeles back in 2017. Our client is a dancer, who suffered permanent injury while filming on the set. A wardrobe and makeup artist poured fake liquid blood on her head after assuring her it was “safe,” without giving her any eye protection. Needless to say, the toxic substance did seriously injure her eyes – and cause substantial emotional trauma, as well.
